The City of Malabon University proudly announces the enactment of City Ordinance No. 02-2024, titled “An Ordinance Enacting the New City of Malabon University Charter and Its Appropriations, Subject to All Legal and Existing Rules and Regulations.” This landmark ordinance signifies the local government’s commitment to upholding the highest standards in education and governance, ensuring that the City of Malabon University (CMU) operates in full compliance with CHED regulations and other legal requirements.

The enactment of this ordinance was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the City Council Chair for Education Committee, Councilor Nadja Marie Vicencio, and all esteemed City Councilors. Their unwavering support and advocacy for education have been instrumental in driving this initiative forward.

Acknowledgment is also extended to City Administrator Dr. Alexander Rosete and the various city departments whose expertise and collaboration were vital in drafting and implementing the ordinance. Their collective efforts have laid the groundwork for the successful realization of this significant milestone.

Furthermore, the University extends its deepest gratitude to Honorable Jeannie Sandoval, the City Mayor, and Chair of the CMU Board of Regents, for her visionary leadership and steadfast commitment to advancing education in the city. Her guidance and support have been invaluable throughout this process.
