In a groundbreaking move, Senator Win Gatchalian’s Tulong-Dunong Program is set to provide substantial financial aid to 300 deserving students at City of Malabon University (CMU). Effective Academic Year 2024-2025, each student will receive Php 7,500.00 in assistance every semester, ensuring greater accessibility to quality education.
The initiative stems from collaborative efforts between Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval and Senator Win Gatchalian. Also present in the meeting were City Administrator Dr. Alexander Rosete, CMU President Dr. Glen De Leon, University Secretary Dr. Allie Agustin, Senator Gatchalian’s Chief of Staff Ms. Jehan Torda Ingalla, and Head of Scholarship Services Ms. Wendy Joaquin. This partnership underscores a commitment to empowering youth and fostering educational equity in Malabon City.
Senator Gatchalian’s generosity is deeply appreciated, and his commitment to investing in the future of Malabon’s students is commendable.
